Thank you for your recent order and we do apologize for any confusion regarding our terry short. The inside and outside of this short are made from the same terry fabric. The outside of the short is smooth due to this being the front side of the fabric. The inside of the short has loops, as this is the back side of the fabric. The difference is due to how this terry fabric was woven. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
